Junior Payroll Administrator
Employment Type: Permanent & Temp
Salary: £18,000 per annum plus benefits
My client based in Buckinghamshire have an opening within their payroll department for a junior member of staff.
The purpose of the role is to assist senior members of the department with all aspects of payroll, your main responsibilities of the role will include:-
Ensuring all starters, leavers, benefits and allowances information is entered on to the Payroll database and update the relevant spreadsheet to record all entries made
Calculate leavers pay when leaving mid-month
Process P46 and P45 forms
Print and sort pay-slips for distribution
Run month end payroll journals
Ensure monthly salary payment for client payrolls are transferred to the correct accounts in a timely manner
Upload and check year-end figures for HMRC
Basic understanding of the payroll software and its functionality
Respond to client queries regarding payroll in a professional and timely manner
Be aware of and comply with the firm’s policies at all times
