Our client a leading public sector organisation are seeking a Payroll Officer on a permanent basis within their offices located in Buckinghamshire.
Process monthly payroll consisting of over 300 employees using an integrated Payroll/HR System.
Calculate all Payroll amendments and deductions in line with the Pay Policy and after receiving appropriate authorisation from the Head of HR.
Calculate overtime, PAYE, NI deductions, SMP, SSP, OSP, SPP, OMP, pension contributions, attachments to earnings, holiday pay, annual pay awards, salary amendments and increments.
Implement HMRC tax codes for employees and ensure that Payroll keeps up to date with the annual increases for statutory SMP, SSP, SPP etc.
Complete Month end and Year end HMRC procedures – P35, P11D’s, P14 and distribution of P60’s electronically.
Provide periodic and end of year returns to Pensions Agencies which accurately reflect employer and employee contributions.
